Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Luci Emma ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Tails & Tales Studio (the "Product") and this website (the "Site"), collects, uses and protects your information. By using the Site or purchasing the Product, you agree to this Policy.
1. What we collect
- Your email address, name and licence key. These are your account. The key is created when your purchase is confirmed, and we record which parts you own (the app and any upgrades) and whether the licence is active.
- Purchase information. Orders are processed by our marketplace and payment partners (such as WarriorPlus and PayPal). We receive your name, email, the order reference and which product you bought. We never see or store your card details.
- Order notices sent to us by WarriorPlus (sales and refunds), kept so a refund reaches the right licence and so we can solve "I paid but can't get in" problems.
- Your IP address, briefly. Each time the app checks a licence, we record the IP address and the time, only to stop anyone guessing keys. These records are deleted automatically after 24 hours.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.
2. What stays on your own device
Your stories, brand kits, posting plans, settings and the tales you add are saved only in your own browser (local storage), so the app remembers them next time. They are not sent to our server. Clearing your browser data removes them, which is why the app lets you export a backup file that you keep yourself.
To keep your access working, the app stores your email and licence key in your browser and checks them with our server about once a day.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- The app and this Site carry no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
- We have no access to your ChatGPT, Gemini, Midjourney, Kling or other AI accounts and never see the images or videos you make there.
- We do not ask for, or store, any password or API key.
4. How we use it
- To give you access to what you bought, and to remove access after a refund.
- To answer your support messages.
- To send transactional email such as your licence key.
- Occasionally, product news or offers — always with an unsubscribe link that never affects your access.
- To keep the service secure and to comply with the law.
5. Cookies and fonts
The app sets no cookies. This sales page sets none of its own. To show its typefaces, the sales page loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when you open the page; this is governed by Google's privacy policy. The WarriorPlus checkout and its scripts are governed by WarriorPlus's own policy.
6. Sharing
We share information only with the providers who make the business run — the marketplace, the payment processor, email and hosting — and only as far as each needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
7. Third-party AI tools
You paste the Product's prompts into your own account with a third-party AI tool. What that tool does with them is governed by that company's own privacy policy.
8. Security and retention
We take reasonable measures to protect your information: no passwords are used, database queries are protected against injection, and licence checks are rate-limited. No system is completely secure. We keep your licence record for as long as your account exists, or as long as the law requires; IP records are deleted after 24 hours.
9. Your rights
Email us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have your account deleted. Depending on where you live — for example under GDPR or CCPA — you may have additional rights.
10. Children
The Product and Site are sold to adults — page owners, sellers, teachers and parents — and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
