Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Luci Emma ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of Hero Comic Prompt Studio (the "Product") and this website ("Site"), collects, uses and protects your information. By using the Site or purchasing the Product, you agree to this Policy.

1. What we collect

Your email address and licence key. These are your account. The licence key is generated when your purchase is confirmed.
Purchase information. Orders are processed by our marketplace and payment partners (WarriorPlus, PayPal, Stripe). We receive your email, the order reference and which package you bought. We never see or store your card details — those stay with the payment processor.
A device code. Your licence works on up to 5 devices. To count them we store a short one-way code derived from your browser, not a name, serial number or location. You can free up device slots yourself inside the app.
A login session. When you sign in we set one essential cookie so you stay signed in. We store a hashed version of it, never the cookie value itself.
Your IP address, only when a licence key is requested. The "email me my key" form records the IP address, the email typed and whether it succeeded. This exists to stop someone testing thousands of email addresses against our system. These records are kept only as long as they are useful for that purpose.
The characters and prompts you save. If you press Lock or Save, that character or prompt is stored on our server so it is there on your other computers. They are yours.
Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

2. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
This sales page carries no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising cookies.
We do not have access to your ChatGPT, Gemini or Midjourney account, and we never see the images you generate there.
We do not ask for, or store, any API key.

3. How we use it

To give you access to what you bought, and to keep your saved work available.
To answer your support messages.
To send transactional email — your licence key, and notices about your account.
Occasionally, product news or offers. Every such email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing never affects your access.
To keep the service secure and to comply with the law.

4. Cookies

The Product sets one cookie: the sign-in session. It is required for the app to work at all, and it disappears when it expires or when you sign out. The sales page sets no cookies.

5. Sharing

We share your information only with the service providers who make the business run — the marketplace, the payment processor, the email service and our hosting provider — and only as far as each one needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Third-party AI tools

The Product writes text prompts. You paste them into your own account with a third-party AI tool. What that tool does with your prompt is governed by that company's own privacy policy and terms, not ours. Please read them before pasting anything confidential.

7. Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your information — passwords are never used or stored, session tokens are hashed, and each account can only reach its own rows. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. We keep your data for as long as your account exists, or as long as the law requires.

8. Your rights

Email us and you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and saved work deleted. We will reply within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live — for example under GDPR or CCPA — you may have additional rights.

9. Children

The Product and Site are sold to adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
